Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy has offered advice to Juventus ahead of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Monaco.

Debuchy's side were put out by Monaco, despite being tipped to come through the round of 16 tie against the Ligue 1 club, losing the first leg 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal managed to win the return 2-0, but went out on away goals.

Italian champions Juventus are now the next side to pit their wits against Leonardo Jardim's team in Europe.

And Debuchy has told the Bianconeri where Arsenal went wrong against Monaco and paid the price.

"Our first leg was not good", he admitted to Tuttosport.

"They were very solid defensively and exploited things very well on the break.

"You need to pay attention to their counter attack, which we didn't do in the first leg.

"My advice for Juventus is not to rush up the pitch together in an effort to try to score."

Arsenal pulled the scoreline back to 2-1 in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, but were caught with a sucker punch to make it 3-1 to Monaco as they chased the game. And a third away goal ultimately proved too much for Arsene Wenger's men to turn around in the second leg at the Stade Louis II.
