The agent of Manchester United linked Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain have already made an initial approach for the Belgian international.

The former Chelsea man’s exploits at Wolfsburg have been noticed by some of the top European clubs and now the Bundesliga side are facing a stiff fight to keep the player at the Volkswagen Arena beyond the end of the season.

While Wolfsburg are confident that De Bruyne will stay at the club to guide their potential Champions League run next season, his agent Patrick De Koster revealed that PSG and other clubs have already set the ball rolling in the transfer saga.

However, De Koster sought to allay the fears of the Wolfsburg fans by saying that there have been no ‘concrete’ discussions on De Bruyne’s future with any of his suitors.

Speaking to Canal Supporters, the Belgian’s agent said: “Paris Saint-Germain and other clubs interested in Kevin have only approached us for initial information on him.

“The transfer amount? I cannot answer that, it’s a matter of supply and demand but we have not reached that point yet.”

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has been enamoured by the Belgian’s skill and has been said to be keen to add his considerable attacking talents to his squad at Old Trafford this summer.

However, their Mancunian rivals Manchester City recent held discussions with player’s representatives and are believed to be in pole position to land De Bruyne at the end of the season as they aim to revamp their squad.
