Barcelona have called in Dani Alves' agent to present a proposal for the renewal of the Brazilian full-back's contract.

Alves, who has been linked with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool in recent months, sees his contract at the Camp Nou expire this summer.

There has been no agreement over a fresh deal for the rampaging full-back, with Alves having appeared firmly set for the Camp Nou exit door.

But in a twist, according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have summoned Alves' agent Dinorah Santana to a meeting later today.

Barcelona will present the full-back's agent with a new contract proposal in the hope of convincing him to stay put.
