Monaco winger Nabil Dirar believes that Radamel Falcao will be looking over to the Stade Louis II and wishing he had not left the club last summer.

Falcao moved on a season-long loan deal to Manchester United, but has struggled badly at Old Trafford and now regularly warms the bench under Louis van Gaal.

The usually prolific Colombian striker has scored just four goals for Manchester United and the Red Devils look unlikely to pay the €53m required to keep him on a permanent basis in the summer.

For Dirar, Falcao must feel regret at having left Monaco, who are in the Champions League quarter-finals, even though the Moroccan knows he was keen to head to Manchester United.

"People always talk about Falcao and James Rodriguez, but there are also Mounir [Obbadi] and Manu [Riviere], two regulars, that left", he told Le Parisien.

"At the beginning of the season we took a blow, it was hard.

"I think that Falcao must regret having left. Here he would have played and participated in the Champions League.
