Celtic striker John Guidetti wants Feyenoord to more than double their initial contract offer if he is to consider joining the club on a free transfer in the summer

The Swede, who is out of contract with parent club Manchester City in the summer, will be a free agent soon and is looking to assess his options at the end of the season.

Though Celtic are interested in acquiring his services on a permanent basis, Guidetti has vowed to wait until the end of the season to look at all the offers which come his way.

Feyenoord, who are keen to reunite with a player they had on loan in the 2011/12 season, recently tabled their offer for Guidetti and were hopeful of agreeing a deal with his representatives.

However, according to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Guidetti wants the Rotterdam club to more than double their €20,000 per week offer.

The 22-year-old is believed to be looking to earn a lucrative contract in the summer and is keen to wait until the right offer comes along.

Feyenoord meanwhile have slapped a two-week deadline on their efforts to convince Guidetti to move to the Netherlands, after which time they will look at other targets.

Italian giants Inter Milan are believed to be keeping tabs on Guidetti and Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are also believed to be keen on signing him at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen whether any of his suitors are ready to meet the demands of a player who has scored just two league goals this year.
