Fenerbahce want to bring in two Netherlands internationals in the summer and are eyeing an ambitious swoop for Nigel de Jong and Robin van Persie, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

De Jong currently turns out for AC Milan, but is out of contract at the end of the season and is being chased by a number of clubs, including Manchester United.

Fenerbahce want to team De Jong up with Van Persie, who has a further year left on his contract to run with Manchester United.

There are question marks over whether Manchester United will offer Van Persie a new deal and Fenerbahce are hopeful a lucrative contract offer may tempt the Dutchman to ply his trade in the Super Lig next term.

This season Van Persie has managed just 26 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United due to injuries, hitting the back of the net on ten occasions.

De Jong meanwhile is a key man at AC Milan and has made 21 appearances in Serie A for the Rossoneri, picking up ten yellow cards in the process as he has patrolled midfield.

Fenerbahce currently sit second in the Turkish Super Lig, just two points behind leaders Galatasaray.
