Tottenham Hotspur legend Mark Falco has lavished praise on forward Harry Kane, saying that the youngster could be pushing towards the 35-goal mark by the time the season ends.

Kane has enjoyed a stellar breakout season at White Hart Lane this term, having notched 29 goals in all competitions thus far, including 19 Premier League strikes that have kept Spurs in the running for a spot in the Champions League next season.

His performances didn’t go under the radar of the national team as England manager Roy Hodgson gave the 21-year-old his Three Lions’ debut against Lithuania last month and Kane made the most of it by scoring shortly after he came on as a substitute.

Falco, who prior to Kane was the last home-grown player for Spurs to score 20 goals in a season, is elated with Kane’s rise, backing the youngster to soon be pushing the 35-goal in a season mark.

“He has to be the most improved player we’ve seen for a while”, the 54-year-old told the Spurs website in an interview.
