Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that their midfielder Oscar is not going anywhere in the summer.

The Chelsea midfielder’s future at the club has come on the radar over the last few weeks after Mourinho expressed his dissatisfaction over Oscar’s recent performances.

Juventus are one of the clubs who are tracking the 23-year-old and are confident of snaring him away from the Blues in the summer.

There is also speculation that Mourinho might be ready to offload the midfielder if a good offer is placed on Chelsea’s table but the Portuguese rubbished all such rumours.

He insisted that Oscar is still a big part of his future plans for Chelsea and will stay at the club beyond the summer.

He also added that there is no reason for the Premier League leaders to sell a young player who recently signed a new contract and is going though one of the best phases of his career.

“Of course he will stay”, Mourinho said in a press conference.

“He signed a new contract a few months ago and is on one of the best contracts at Chelsea.

“He is just 23 and is going through one of the best phases of his career so of course Chelsea won’t sell him.”

Oscar has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season.
