Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn believes that his side lack the quality to play poorly in a match but still pick up three points.

Redfearn steered Leeds away from relegation danger in the Championship earlier this season, with his side embarking upon an impressive run of form at the start of 2015.

Of late they have slumped however and have now lost their last four consecutive games, although safety has been assured in the Championship and there is little more than pride to play for.

Redfearn feels that his side need reinforcements over the summer and believes that the teams near the top end of the table have the players, particularly up front, to win games while not playing well.

"If you've got strikers you can play badly and win. You can nick games", he explained to LUTV.

"But we've got to play well and win. That's perhaps the difference."

With strikers Mirco Antenucci, Billy Sharp, Souleymane Doukara and Steve Morison at his disposal though, Redfearn will not be critical, feeling his men have worked hard for the cause.

"But it would be wrong to criticise our strikers because they've really mucked in, I have to say."
