Leeds United have released details about six players who have withdrawn from their matchday squad against Charlton Athletic due to injury.

Mirco Antenucci, Souleymane Doukara, Edgar Cani, Dario Del Fabro, Marco Silvestri and Giuseppe Bellusci all informed head coach Neil Redfearn that they are unavailable for the Charlton game due to injury.

Redfearn and the club's physio are reported not to be aware of any of the six suffering injuries and the Leeds squad has been left depleted as a result.

However, a club spokesman has told BBC Radio Leeds that the six are injured and has specified the injuries they have.

It has been claimed goalkeeper Silvestri is suffering from a back injury, while centre-back Bellusci has issues with his quad and hamstring.

Another defender, Del Fabro, has a problem with his knee.

Striker Antenucci is suffering from a hip complaint, while his fellow striker Doukara has a knee issue.

Winter transfer window signing Cani meanwhile has tendonitis in his knee.

It remains to be seen how the withdrawals will affect Leeds when they take on Charlton at the Valley this afternoon, but the club appears to be being once again badly struck by off the pitch issues.
