Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish has revelled in his side's 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win over Liverpool today, which booked a spot in the final against Arsenal.

Liverpool took the lead in the 30th minute at Wembley, with Philippe Coutinho producing a bit of magic to fire the Reds in front.

But Aston Villa were not about to lie down and Christian Benteke drew his side level in the 36th minute.

Aston Villa grew into the game, starting to dominate, while Liverpool bringing on Mario Balotelli at half time did not change the direction of travel.

And Aston Villa got their reward when Fabian Delph fired into the back of the net in the 54th minute.

Villa had chances to extend their advantage as they were quicker to every ball than Liverpool and did not look troubled, Grealish in particular standing out.

Then though Liverpool rallied, seeing a Steven Gerrard header cleared off the line, while he then played in Balotelli, who fired the ball into the back of the net, but saw his effort ruled out for offside.

Liverpool slipped to defeat, with Aston Villa booking a final spot.

"It was brilliant for me personally to play at Wembley at my age and go on to win and now we are through to the final, hopefully we can go on and win it", Grealish told the BBC.

And he had praise for Tim Sherwood, adding: "The gaffer has given me loads of belief and you can see it on the pitch."

Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given is also delighted, explaining: "It's special, a historic cup competition and we're going to the final. We're obviously delighted."
