PSV Eindhoven technical director Marcel Brands has confirmed that Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are actively chasing winger Memphis Depay, but warned that his asking price now exceeds €20m.

Depay shone at the World Cup for the Netherlands last summer, playing under current Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

And he has only enhanced his reputation over the current campaign, powering PSV to the Eredivisie title and ending the stranglehold Ajax had on the Dutch crown.

This summer Depay is expected to leave the Philips Stadion, but not before PSV have extracted top dollar for their talented 21-year-old.

Speaking on Dutch TV programme De Tafel van Kees, Brands said: "Paris Saint-Germain had an interest in Memphis in the winter.

"Now three clubs have come forward, including PSG and Manchester United."

And Brands' words were echoed by CEO Toon Gerbrands, who pointed out that Depay will cost much money for the club who eventually win the race for his signature.

"In the winter there was a bid of around €20m. Now we're talking about higher amounts when it comes to Memphis."

Depay has so far scored 26 goals in 37 games in all competitions for PSV and in total has clocked up 121 appearances for the Eindhoven-based outfit since breaking onto the scene.
