Former Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup admits he is not sure where he will be coaching next season and will only take a decision after speaking with clubs interested in his services.

The Dane has just led Lekhwiya to the Qatar Stars League title, but it is not clear whether his adventure in the Middle East will continue for another campaign.

Lekhwiya saw off a spirited challenge from Al Sadd to claim the title and may not have finished their trophy gathering yet with the Qatar Cup and the Emir Cup to play for.

"It is not the moment to make a decision, as we are still playing in three competitions", Laudrup explained to sc.qa when asked about his future.

"When the season is over I will sit down and think it through.

"I will also listen to what the club has to say, what they will do for the future, as you always have to improve the team.

"And I also want to listen to the other interested clubs and then make up my mind."

Laudrup is on the whole delighted to have won the Qatar Stars League, feeling that he had to cope with a number of potentially disruptive issues throughout the campaign, which makes success all the sweeter.

"I am very pleased. It was nice to win the trophy.

"There have been a lot of challenges, like the amount of players we had away on international tournaments such as the Gulf Cup which Qatar won, the Asian Cup and also the Cup of Nations.

"So I think the fact that we have won the league, and with the number of points difference that we have, is amazing."

Laudrup left his role as Swansea boss in February 2014, before then taking charge at Lekhwiya in June the same year.
