Leeds United supremo Massimo Cellino has told the club's fans to buckle up and enjoy a rollercoaster ride next season.

The Italian businessman is currently banned from running Leeds by the Football League, however his sanction ends next month and he is actively planning for next season with a spring in his step.

Cellino is unsure whether he will keep Neil Redfearn as head coach at Elland Road – "I have to decide", he said – but his dream of reaching the Premier League has not been dimmed by a season of turmoil.

He has his eyes on adding at least four new players and believes that he is battling against the clock to take Leeds back to the Promised Land.

"I don’t have much time, I want to see the team in the Premier League", he told journalist Simon Austin.

"I have to change a lot of things, keep the best players and bring in four new ones, the right ones.

"I have to change a lot of things.

"The fans are going to enjoy next season so much, it will be a beautiful season, I promise to them", Cellino added.

This season Leeds are limping towards the Championship finish line, having lost their last five consecutive games to sit 16th in the table.

Just two games remain for the Whites to put a brave face on the campaign, both Yorkshire derbies, with Sheffield Wednesday away and Rotherham at home.

Cellino's ban does not end until the day after the Rotherham match, but the Italian has asked the Football League to allow him to attend the game at Elland Road.
