PSV Eindhoven have given Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool permission to talk to Manchester United target Memphis Depay’s representatives over a summer move for their client.

The Dutch winger spearheaded PSV’s league title winning campaign this season but is widely expected to leave the Phillips Stadion in the summer.




It was claimed yesterday that PSV have already reached an agreement to sell Depay to Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United but it seems the deal is far from being completed.

Liverpool and PSG are also in the race for the 21-year-old and according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf the newly crowned Dutch champions have given permission to both clubs to talk to his representatives.
 


It has been claimed that Manchester United have been made aware by PSV of what kind of a transfer fee they are expecting before they sanction’s Depay’s sale.

Depay has been the standout performer for PSV this season and the club are not willing to let the player leave on the cheap. They are expecting to receive a transfer fee of around €25m to €30m for the winger.

Manchester United are expected to step up on their interest in Depay in the near future as Van Gaal is known to be desperate to take the 21-year-old to Old Trafford in the summer.
