Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli has revealed that he intends to score more goals in the future.

Chadli landed at White Hart Lane in the summer of 2013 and he has become a regular fixture of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting eleven, having made 40 appearances in all competitions this season so far.

In his 30 Premier League matches, the Belgium international has netted nine times and assisted a further five goals for his team-mates, playing a decisive role in Tottenham Hotspur’s campaign as they currently sit sixth in the table.

However, Chadli feels that he can add more to his tally and has set the target of reaching double figures in the league by the time the current season comes to a close.

“I’m working on getting to double-figures but every week the most important thing is to help the team to win”, he told his club’s site.
