AC Milan midfielder and Chelsea loanee Marco van Ginkel admits that he is unsure about where his future lies this summer.

The Dutchman joined the Rossoneri last summer on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea but struggled to break into the team because of form and injury disruptions.

However, towards the end of the season Van Ginkel has managed to find his way into Filippo Inzaghi’s plans and has started the last five league games for the Italian giants.

His agent claimed recently that playing for Chelsea remains his client’s goal and insisted that the Dutchman’s future will be sorted out as soon as possible.

However, Van Ginkel is less certain about his future and said that he is still not sure about Chelsea’s plans for him this summer.

He indicated that there is still a possibility he will stay at the San Siro beyond the end of the season.

“I do not know what will happen next season with Chelsea”, Van Ginkel told Milan Channel.

“I am waiting to see whether Chelsea and Milan can agree a deal for me during the transfer window.”

Van Ginkel has made eleven appearances for AC Milan this season in all competitions.
