Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has insisted that he has no offer on his table from Manchester City.

Currently managing Serie A side Napoli, the Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and has been already linked with a number of managerial jobs at different clubs.

Manchester City are the latest club to be involved in the speculation surrounding Benitez’s future. With Manuel Pellegrini under pressure to save his job after a disappointing defence of their Premier League title, it is believed the former Liverpool and Chelsea boss’ name has cropped up at the Etihad as a potential replacement for the Chilean.

Benitez’s impressive track record with Liverpool and Chelsea is believed to be one of the key reasons why Manchester City are thinking about his potential presence in the dugout at the Etihad.

However, Benitez rubbished the rumours linking him with Manchester City and claimed that there is no offer from the reigning English champions on his table.
