Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri feels that the Old Lady’s Champions League clash against Monaco could be decided on the finer details.

The reigning Italian champions will play the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Leonardo Jardim’s men at the Stade Luis II tonight and having taken a 1-0 lead from the first leg last week, the Bianconeri have a slender advantage heading into the game.

Allegri has urged his side to score and get an all important away goal, but he is wary of the defensive solidity possessed by the Ligue 1 outfit and feels that the outcome of the tie could boil down to the finer details.

“I don't know for certain what Monaco's tactics will be, but we will try to score as we know what they're about”, he was quoted as saying by UEFA.

“Monaco are a team that defend well and are physically very strong, so it will be a difficult game, just like the first leg.

“It could come down to the finer details.”

Juventus have won the Italian title for the last three consecutive years and having taken a commanding 15-point lead in the table this season, they appear strong favourites to win their fourth successive Scudetto.

However, they have failed to make significant forays in the Champions League in recent years and Allegri feels that the onus is on his side to continue their European presence this term.

“We are in the quarter-finals, we have a chance of going through, and whether we do or not depends on ourselves.

“We are not that far into the competition yet; we can go even further.

“But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.”
