Inter Milan full-back Davide Santon believes that Yaya Toure would be great signing for the Italian outfit as he is a man who could win them games.

Santon, who himself moved to Inter from England in the winter transfer window, has previously experienced playing against the Manchester City player and believes that in spite of his advanced age, he is still a great player with the pace and ability to win games.

The Nerazzurri have been widely linked with a move for the 31-year-old and even with including midfielder Mateo Kovacic in the deal.

And Santon, who faced Toure during his spell at Newcastle United, knows better than anyone else how lethal the midfielder can be.

"I've played against Yaya Toure and when Manchester City won the title he scored a brace at St. James' Park", Santon told his club's official website.

"He impressed me and he's still a great player with pace and ability that can win games."

The full-back also took time to speak about his own transfer situation, highlighting that the club and the manager know what they will be doing in terms of transfer.

"The coach and the club know what they're doing in terms of transfers, we'll see."

Santon joined Inter on loan, but the Nerazzurri have an obligation to buy him at the end of the season.
