The draw for the Champions League semi-finals has been made and there are a couple of interesting clashes in the offing.

Four-time European champions Barcelona have been drawn to play reigning German champions Bayern Munich, in what will be a re-match of the semi-final clash of the 2012/13 edition.

The intriguing clash will see the return of Pep Guardiola, the current manager of Bayern Munich, against his former side Barcelona with whom he won their last two European Cups.

In the second semi-final holders Real Madrid will play Italian giants Juventus.

Real Madrid secured their passage to the last four after narrowly edging out Atletico Madrid 1-0 in their quarter-final tie, whereas Massimiliano Allegri’s side qualified after defeating Monaco by the same scoreline.

The clash will also see a former manager returning to his old stomping ground as Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid play his old side Juventus.

The first legs will be played on 5/6th May and the second legs are scheduled for 15/16th May.
