Tottenham Hotspur-linked French winger Florian Thauvin is expected to leave Marseille at the end of the season, according to L’Equipe.

The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome last summer but he stayed put at the club.

He has scored five goals and provided seven assists in 32 league appearances for Marseille this season and has continued to remain an important member of Marcelo Bielsa’s team.

However, his recent lacklustre performances have frustrated the Marseille hierarchy and it has been claimed that they are willing to let the player leave the club this summer if they receive a good offer for him.

Despite failing to sign him last summer, Tottenham have continued to maintain a keen interest in the Frenchman and Marseille are expecting the Premier League side to make a bid for him at the end of the season.

The French club are confident that they will be able to attract offers for Thauvin this summer and are hoping to earn a transfer fee of around €15m to €20m from his sale.

Thauvin is yet to break into the French senior squad but has earned 10 caps for their Under-21 side.
