Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has acknowledged that there are a number of clubs interested in signing striker Edinson Cavani in the summer.

Despite declaring himself happy in the French capital, Cavani has continued to be linked with leaving PSG, amid suggestions he is tired of being shifted out of his preferred position up front to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus have seen their names mentioned in connection with Cavani and Blanc accepts that the Uruguay international is attracting interest.

And the PSG boss hopes that transfer talk spurs Cavani on to produce the goods.

"It's normal that clubs are interested in Cavani", he told a press conference.

"I would be surprised if that was not the case.

"Perhaps all this speculation will serve as motivation for him for the end of season run-in and he can be the main man for us. I hope so."

Despite being shifted out of position with Ibrahimovic taking centre stage, Cavani has still hit 21 goals in 45 games in all competitions for PSG this season.

He has a contract at the Parc des Princes which runs until the summer of 2018.
