John Terry believes that Chelsea kept Arsenal's world-class players quiet this afternoon after the two sides played out a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium.

The Blues set up without a traditional striker and quickly set about shackling Arsenal, with the match having little in the way of clear cut opportunities, despite being end to end in the first half.

Chelsea did have three penalty appeals in the game, but Terry was not in the mood to complain, especially with the Blues restricting Arsenal to only one shot on target throughout the entire game.

For Terry, Chelsea were professional and did the job they came to the Emirates Stadium to do.

And he believes they have taken a big step towards winning the title, telling Sky Sports: "It is a big step to where we want to go. Its not done mathematically but it's a big step.
