Arsene Wenger believes that the only difference between his Arsenal side and Jose Mourinho's Chelsea team is how his side started the season.

Arsenal saw their faint Premier League title hopes go up in smoke yesterday when they could find no way past Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium and recorded a 0-0 draw with the Blues.

Wenger's side continue to remain ten points behind league leaders Chelsea, but the Arsenal boss does not feel there is too much between the two teams.

And he puts the gap down to Arsenal starting the season sluggishly.

"You could see that [there is] not a lot [between the teams]", he said via his club's site.

"We missed the first part of the season – after six games we had one win and Chelsea were already five or six points in front.

"That played a big part in the run-in", Wenger added.

Arsenal can still finish the season on a high by winning the FA Cup and finishing as runners-up behind Chelsea.

Wenger's men are into the FA Cup final where they will face Aston Villa on 30th May at Wembley. The Gunners won the FA Cup last season, beating Hull City in the final.
