Aston Villa are eyeing a move for Wolves’ Mali international attacking midfielder Bakary Sako in the summer.

Though only two points separate Aston Villa from the relegation zone, Tim Sherwood is still reasonably confident of securing their Premier League status for this season and is already planning his transfer strategy for the summer.

The Englishman wants to add more goals and creativity to his Villa side for their next campaign and is eyeing a number of options in the transfer market.

According to L’Equipe, the Villa boss is keeping a close eye on Wolves' dynamic attacker Sako and wants to make a move for him in the summer.

Though Wolves might just fall short of the Championship playoff places, Sako’s performances have played a key role in keeping Kenny Jackett’s team in the hunt this season.
