Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez has revealed that at the moment he is just trying to enjoy his football and is not too keen to think about his future at the club.

The Mexican’s meandering Real Madrid career sparked into life last week when he scored the crucial late winner against Atletico Madrid to book a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League for Los Blancos.

Hernandez continued to make full use of Karim Benzema’s absence from the team due to injury with a brace against Celta Vigo yesterday, which helped Real Madrid to bag three crucial points in the race for La Liga.

When asked whether his recent performances would force Real Madrid’s hand into signing him on a permanent deal, the forward was quoted as saying by AS: “More than anything else they’ve served to give me confidence.”

The Mexican stressed that he is just trying to enjoy the amount of football he is getting to play for the moment and indicated that he is not thinking about his future at the club.
