AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi is looking at tonight's match against Genoa as an opportunity to hit back at critics, showing them how much the club means to the players.

The Rossoneri have been winless in their last three league matches, losing their last match against Udinese 2-1 away from home. As a result, Inzaghi's team are currently placed tenth in the league table and find their dreams of qualifying for European football next season fading quick.

However, the 41-year-old doesn't want the dream to fade as yet and has asked his players to give it that final push in order to finish the season on a high.

And with just six matches remaining in the season, Inzaghi wants the winning streak to start from the Genoa match.

"A lot of false things have been said which are not nice and our best answer would be to do well against Genoa", Inzaghi said at a press conference.

"We can show how much this club means to the players and how much we want to do well for the fans."

Genoa are a side that have done well this season, enjoying a great run of form of late. The y have in fact won three of their last five matches, a fact that makes tonight's match even more challenging, according to the AC Milan manager.

"Genoa are having a great season, they can match anyone and if we go into the game with the right approach then we can also match anyone. I am sure that tomorrow we will bounce back."
