Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that his side are calm as they approach their next league games this Sunday, where the Blues can seal the league title with a win.

Mourinho’s men are sitting atop the table, having collected 80 points from their 34 matches. They are 13 points clear of second placed Manchester City and a win this weekend will make the Pensioners’ lead unassailable.

And ahead of his team’s potential title clincher against Crystal Palace, Mourinho has said that his team are calm, but they want to wrap up the title as soon as they can.

"We are calm”, he said at a pre-match press conference.

"We need two or three points to be champions. Let's say three to make sure you don't depend on goal difference.

“Obviously we want to finish as soon as possible.”

Mourinho added that winning the title in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful will be even better and that is what Chelsea are aiming for as they prepare to host Alan Pardew’s men this Sunday.

“If we can finish it at home, on Sunday, even better.

“That's what we have in our minds.”

If Chelsea win the title this term it will be Mourinho’s third Premier League title adding to the two he won in his first term with the west London outfit.
