Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has warned his team against a "tough" Queens Park Rangers side as they prepare to host the relegation battlers at Anfield tomorrow.

The Hoops under their manager Chris Ramsey are desperately fighting to save their Premier League status, a fact that Rodgers believes will make the match tough for them to win.

According to the 42-year-old, with the arrival of Ramsey at Loftus Road, things have changed and Hoops have become more organised and are working hard, as has been reflected in a lot of their recent games.

And with players such as Charlie Austin and Bobby Zamora sharing the goalscoring responsibilities up front they have appeared brighter, Rodgers feels.

However, the manager stresses that while respecting their opponents' fighting attitude, his side will focus on themselves and try to win the match in order to keep the fight for the top four alive.

"It'll be a very, very tough game for us", Rodgers told his club's official website.

"Chris has gone in there and they're very well organised, they're all working hard, you see in a lot of their recent games they press the ball very high up the field, very much as a unit.

"Young Charlie [Austin] up front with Bobby Zamora, they're a real handful – you've seen it in their recent games. Their last game it was tough for them but they still make it very, very difficult whether it's home or away.

"So we totally respect them and their fight, but obviously we focus on ourselves, knowing that we're fighting as well to finish as high as we can."
