Chelsea have won the Premier League title after beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at Stamford Bridge today.

Eden Hazard hit a penalty in the 45th minute, which was saved, but he headed in from the rebound and the goal was all that was needed to secure three points for Chelsea and their first Premier League title since 2010.

Cesc Fabregas was quick to express his delight following the final whistle and told Sky Sports: "We've waited a long time for this. It's a relief. It's something you want to have at the end of your career, so very, very proud.

"This is a very competitive team, they are up there, they have the pressure to win. I like this kind of pressure.

"We're going to party. Champions!" Fabregas added, before running off to join his team-mates celebrating in front of the Chelsea faithful.

And Didier Drogba, who started against Crystal Palace, was delighted to collect his fourth Premier League title with Chelsea.

But the Ivorian striker was not in the mood to label any title better than the rest, and insisted he always looks to live in the moment rather than looking back.

"I prefer to live in the present and this one is sweet also", Drogba said.

"With me or without me, Chelsea will always be number one. But Chelsea is bigger than me and they will always win."

Chelsea now have 83 points to their name from 35 games and will collect the title after the final game of the season at home against Sunderland.
