Celtic manager Ronny Deila is delighted at his side winning the Scottish Premiership title, believing that the Bhoys have achieved "a big thing" by collecting their fourth consecutive crown.

Aberdeen losing away at Dundee United yesterday ensured that Celtic could not be caught at the top of the Premiership table and Deila now has the Scottish title in his first season in charge at the club. Now Deila wants to start to plan for next term, when guiding Celtic into the Champions League group stage will be his first big target.

The manager, who is spending the weekend in his native Norway, told Celtic TV: "We have achieved a big thing – winning the league for the fourth time – and hopefully there will be more and more.

"We have worked so hard for this and finally we are there and can start thinking of next season. There is always high pressure here and I put high demands on myself as well."

And the Norwegian, who succeeded Neil Lennon as Celtic manager last summer, paid tribute to the club's fans and expressed his pride at being in charge of the Scottish giants.
