PSV Eindhoven technical director Marcel Brands is open to the idea of signing Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj this summer.

The Belgian youngster was one of the shining lights of Manchester United’s dismal campaign under former manager David Moyes but has failed to break into Louis van Gaal’s team consistently this season.

While the Dutchman is sure about Januzaj’s talent, he has struggled to find a place for him in the team and it has been mooted at Old Trafford that a loan move away from the club this summer would help the Belgian to further progress in his career.

While it is not clear whether Van Gaal is ready to allow the Belgian to leave on a temporary arrangement, there is interest from clubs across Europe in recruiting the highly-rated youngster.

PSV Eindhoven are one of the clubs who, it has been claimed, are keen to get their hands on Januzaj and their technical director was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Tutto Juve: “If a player like Junuzaj wants to join us to play in the Champions League, then a transfer is possible.”

Manchester United are also chasing the signature of PSV winger Memphis Depay and they might choose to offer Januzaj on loan to the Dutch giants as part of a deal for the Netherlands International.

The Belgian has made just 20 first team appearance for the club this season.
