Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has stressed that his hunger for more trophies has not diminished and he is already looking forward to his next title with the Blues.

A narrow 1-0 win over Crystal Palace yesterday crowned Chelsea the champions of England for the fifth time in their history and it is their first league title in five seasons.

The Blues have dominated the league since the first round of fixtures were played in August and have been at the top since the start of the season.

It is Mourinho’s third Premier League title as Chelsea manager and his first in his second spell at the club but the Portuguese insisted that his hunger for more trophies remains.

"I will try [for] another one. I will try always”, Mourinho was quoted as saying by ITV.

"The day I don't feel that passion to try to do it again, that's enough. I don't feel that day is arriving.

"When you work so hard and you are champions you feel that you got what you deserve. That good feeling.”

The former Real Madrid manager admits that he could have chosen a team in a less challenging league but stressed that he feels even more satisfied because he has managed to win the title in what he considers the most competitive domestic competition in the world.

"For me, maybe [a] special feeling, because I'm not the smartest guy to choose countries and clubs.

"I could choose another club in another country where to be champion is easier. I choose the most difficult league in Europe.

"I risk. I'm so, so happy, because I won another Premier League title, 10 years, or eight or nine years later, in my second spell."

Mourinho has won league titles in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain with four different clubs.
