Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind feels that there are several worthy candidates for the club’s Players’ Player of the Year award for the current season.

Blind landed at Old Trafford from Dutch Eredivisie outfit Ajax Amsterdam at the start of the current season following his great displays for the Netherlands at the 2014 World Cup.

In his inaugural season in English football, the 25-year-old has made 29 appearances for the Red Devils and has contributed two goals and assisted four assists to help his team occupy fourth spot in the table as they attempt a return to the Champions League after a year’s absence.

And when asked of his opinion of the best player at Manchester United this season, Blind has said that there several players who have enjoyed a great season and are in contention to win the Players’ Player of the Season award.

However, he kept his preferred choice close to his chest and highlighted the contributions of David de Gea, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata this season.
