Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is not keen on moving to Newcastle United and wants to consider his options, with interest in his services growing.

The Serbian hitman is wanted by the Magpies and though Anderlecht have denied having received a bid from the English club, Newcastle are keen on Mitrovic.

According to Belgian daily Nieuwsblad, the 20-year-old is not enthused by the prospect of heading to St. James' Park, having noted the club's struggles on the pitch in the Premier League this season.

Mitrovic has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Fiorentina, Valencia, Marseille, Borussia Monchengladbach and Swansea, and wants to wait to see what his options are in the summer.

The Serbian is known to favour joining a side who can offer him European football next term, although he is willing to consider signing for a club with European ambitions.

Anderlecht paid €5m to sign Mitrovic from Partizan Belgrade in 2013 and are open to cashing in on the striker for the right price.

However, Partizan Belgrade are entitled to 20 per cent of any fee Anderlecht receive due to a sell-on clause inserted into the sale agreement two years ago.
