Palermo are ready to lower their demands for Arsenal target Paulo Dybala as Inter Milan emerge as favourites to land the forward this summer.

The Argentine striker’s future has been a source of constant speculation over the last few months and though he is expected to leave Palermo at the end of the season, the club’s €40m asking price was proving to be a hindrance in any deal for Dybala.

However, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Palermo supremo Maurizio Zamparini is ready to lower his demands to facilitate the 21-year-old’s switch away from the club this summer.

The latest development should encourage Inter, who have been doing all the legwork in the transfer saga over the last few weeks and are ready to offer cash plus players to sweeten the deal for Palermo.

It has claimed the Sicilian club are ready to accept a bid of around €28m to €29m if Dybala’s suitors are keen to offer a few of their own players in exchange.

The English trio of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool also hold a long-term interest in the 21-year-old and are expected to make their moves soon in the transfer saga.
