FC Porto are getting serious in the race to sign highly-rated Red Star Belgrade starlet Luka Jovic, with an offer of €5m for half the player's sporting rights being prepared.

Jovic has been linked with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Ajax and Atletico Madrid, but according to Portuguese daily A Bola, Porto are making a concrete move to bag Jovic's signature.

However, the bid has yet to drop on Red Star's doormat, with the club's sporting director Zvezdan Terzic telling Novosti: "We have not received any offer from Porto for Jovic.

"The Portuguese media have their own sources, but such an offer for Jovic we haven't received."

Terzic does concede though that "for him there is a lot of interest".
