Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has revealed that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is aware of his future plans.
Benitez is preparing his team for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie against Dnipro on Thursday but his personal future at the San Paolo remains unresolved.
His contract with Napoli runs out at the end of the season and there is speculation that the Spaniard is looking for a fresh challenge in his career, preferably in the Premier League.
The Napoli president has said that he shares a cordial relationship with the former Liverpool boss and wants him to stay at the club for the long term.
However, Benitez has so far remained non-committal about his future at the club and said that De Laurentiis is aware of his plans.

But the Spaniard stressed that he is not too keen to think about his contract situation and just wants to lead his Napoli team to the Europa League final.
“My agent will meet De Laurentiis”, Benitez was quoted as saying by Calciomercato.
“The president knows what I am thinking [about my future] but at the moment I want to focus on football. We have a historic opportunity to play in a European final.”
