Ahead of Sunday’s clash against Aberdeen, Celtic manager Ronny Deila has revealed that his team are focused on winning their remaining three matches as they attempt to finish the season strongly.

Celtic defeated Dundee 5-0 last Friday and a subsequent 1-0 defeat of second placed Aberdeen at the hands of Dundee United on Saturday handed the league title to the Hoops for the fourth year running.

There are three matches to go before the season comes to a close and Deila, who took charge of the Bhoys at the start of the current season, has said that his team are not yet ready to take their foot off the gas and want to end the season by winning their remaining fixtures.

“We want to finish the league with winning these three games and this match at the weekend in a big, big game”, the manager told his club’s site.

“We are looking forward to it and we want to show that we are the best team in Scotland.

“Aberdeen haven’t beaten us this year and we want to go into next season with that still the same.

“The players are looking forward to the game so I want to see energy in that match and hopefully we will win the game.”

Celtic will play Aberdeen in their next league fixture at Pittodrie on Sunday, where they will look to register their fourth victory over the Dons this season.
