Daley Blind has said that Memphis Depay will realise the enormity of Manchester United as soon as he arrives at the club.
Manchester United agreed a €32m deal with PSV Eindhoven earlier this month for the transfer of Depay and he will soon arrive in Manchester to complete the formalities before penning a contract with the club.
The 21-year-old has already talked about his excitement about joining the Red Devils and how it has been a dream come true for him.
Blind, who joined the Red Devils from Ajax last summer, revealed that there is real excitement amongst the Manchester United faithful about Depay’s impending arrival and said that everyone wants to know about his compatriot.
“Everyone is talking about this transfer”, Blind told Voetbal International.

“His move has generated excitement. You notice that not only at the club but also in the city. I am Dutch so people are asking me about Depay.”
However, the former Ajax man said that Depay will only understand how big Manchester United really are when he eventually arrives at the club.
But he also added that their stature doesn’t take away the warmth inside the club and stressed that Manchester United will do everything to make their new recruits feel at home.
“He will quickly discover how big Manchester United are. The stadium, the atmosphere, the fans; everything you hear and see about United is true.
“However, despite being such a big club, there is warmth around here. Memphis will quickly experience how caring they really are.
“They will do everything to make you feel good about yourself. I felt right at home.”
Depay will put on the PSV shirt for one last time when they take an away trip to ADO Den Haag this Sunday for the final game of their season.
