The Italian trio of AC Milan, Napoli and Roma are eyeing a summer deal for Manchester United’s on-loan striker Javier Hernandez.

The Mexican’s recent run of form has given him a lifeline at Real Madrid, who were previously considering letting the player go after his loan deal expires at the end of the season.

While they are yet to make a decision on making his deal permanent, Real Madrid are thinking about keeping the forward whose goal took them to the Champions League semi-finals.

However, his future remains uncertain and according to Sky Italia there are three Italian clubs who are keen to get their hands on the Manchester United striker this summer.

With Real Madrid taking time to take their decision, AC Milan, Roma and Napoli are hoping to take advantage of the situation and take Hernandez to Italy during the transfer window.

It has been claimed a transfer fee of around €12m to €13 will be enough to convince Manchester United to sanction the forward’s sale in the summer.

However, Real Madrid still reserve the right to make the deal permanent and Hernandez is also keen to stretch his career at the Bernabeu beyond the end of the season.
