Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech's representatives are in serious talks with Arsenal over a possible move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer for a transfer fee in the range of £10m
, according to Idnes.cz and Radio Prague.

Cech has slipped behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and he is looking for a move elsewhere in search of regular playing time.

The 32-year-old has enjoyed a successful career at the west London outfit since joining them in 2004. Through the course of his 11-year stint at the club, the custodian has made close to 500 appearances and kept over 200 clean sheets.

The goalkeeper's agent Viktor Kolar is reported to have met Arsenal's representatives with regards to a possible summer move for his client.

Cech is reported to be in favour of a move to a London-based club since his family is based in the city and he does not want to uproot them by heading abroad.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now thought to be ready to stump up £10m to acquire the veteran goalkeeper.

The Gunners have David Ospina as their first choice goalkeeper for now with Wojciech Szczesny as his understudy. If Cech is signed, it remains to be seen if either or both look to quit the club as they seek to play regularly.
