Finland international striker Teemu Pukki wants to make his loan move from Celtic to Brondby permanent, feeling he has settled well in Denmark.

Pukki swapped the Scottish champions for the Danish giants on a season-long loan deal last summer, aiming to clock up regular first team football.

He has done just that and was on target at the weekend in Brondby's 2-0 win against Silkeborg, taking his total number of goals for the season to nine.

Brondby's coach Thomas Frank wants the club to keep hold of Pukki – and the player himself is keen to stay put too, if the decision is for him to take.

"If is is up to me, I will continue my career at Brondby", Pukki told Danish daily BT.

"I have settled well here", the Finn added.

Brondby are aiming to resolve whether or not Pukki will stay put by the end of this month.

The 25-year-old counts Spanish giants Sevilla and Bundesliga outfit Schalke amongst his former clubs. He linked up with Celtic from Schalke in 2013.
