Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, it has been claimed, but must now do a deal with the French champions to sign the Argentine.

Lavezzi is looking at options away from PSG and is attracted to the idea of linking up with countryman Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane.

Now the former Napoli player has reached an agreement on a four-year contract with Spurs, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

However, Spurs will need to find a deal with PSG for the move to proceed.

Lavezzi has been linked with several sides in recent months, not least another English club in the shape of Liverpool.
