Barcelona are keeping an eye on developments surrounding Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo.

Pjanic has been strongly linked with Liverpool, where he is viewed as a potential successor to departing star Steven Gerrard, though Roma continue to be keen to keep hold of the former Lyon man.




Barcelona are currently banned from making signings, but are still willing to put deals in place this summer to ensure key targets do not slip through their fingers.
