Manchester United striker Robin van Persie’s agent met the Juventus hierarchy on the sidelines of last night’s Coppa Italia final.

The Dutch forward’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain as Manchester United have not offered him an extension to his contract which expires at the end of next season.

The English giants are also believed to be keen to listen to offers for Van Persie, which has led to him being linked with clubs across Europe.

While Fenerbahce are keen to take him to Turkey this summer, Van Persie is believed to be not too enthused by the idea as he wants to continue to play in a major European league.

Italian giants Roma and Juventus have been extensively linked with Van Persie and the player’s agent arrived in Italy yesterday to take stock of the situation.
