Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is evaluating AC Milan’s offer to replace Filippo Inzaghi at the San Siro this summer.

There have been rumours that following a campaign where Real Madrid failed to capture any of the major trophies, the club are set to ask the Italian to leave after just two seasons in charge.

However, it is believed Ancelotti already has an offer to take over as the manager of AC Milan and a club official is rumoured to have met the Italian yesterday to convince him to come back to the San Siro.

While Real Madrid are yet to make a decision on Ancelotti’s future, according to La Stampa, the former Chelsea boss is closely studying the offer from AC Milan and is giving a serious thought about a return to the San Siro.

The Rossoneri are looking to pick themselves up from another underwhelming campaign under Inzaghi and want Ancelotti to usher in a new era at the club from next season.
