Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he plans to keep his Premier League winner’s medal unlike the last time when he tossed it to the Blues' fans.

The Pensioners have won their first Premier League in five years and they will be presented with the trophy after their clash against Sunderland this weekend.

During Chelsea’s last title win under Mourinho in 2005/06 season, the Portuguese tossed his winner’s medal amongst the Blues’ supporters, but has said that he plans to keep it with him this time.

He added that for him the feelings and emotions that go into victories are far more important than the medals and trophies.

“The trophy, the silver piece, means less than the feeling”, he was quoted as saying by his club’s site.

“For me the feeling was against Crystal Palace. I understand people need time to organise things but the reality is that the real feeling for me personally is when you do it.

“I will keep it this time; my son is collecting all my stuff and keeps everything. He steals everything from me, shirts, medals, cups.”

Looking ahead to Sunday’s clash against Sunderland, who secured their top flight status with a draw against Arsenal earlier this week, Mourinho said that his team will look to end their season on a winning note.

“The motivation for us is to be champions and for Sunderland not to be relegated. We’ve celebrated already, they’ve celebrated these last fantastic weeks which they’ve had with good results.

“There is a last match, obviously we want to win and so do they, that’s normal.”
