Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen believes that beating Everton tomorrow would send Spurs into the summer in good spirits and help to build momentum for next season.

Mauricio Pochettino's men lock horns with Everton at Goodison Park on the Premier League's final day tomorrow. Spurs currently sit sixth in the table, a point behind Liverpool, and could finish fifth if results go in their favour.

For Eriksen, finishing as high as possible is important, but just as important is to sign off from the season with a win.

The Dane told his club's site: "It’s an exciting final game at Everton.

"If we can end up higher we should take that chance of we get it", Eriksen continued.

"Hopefully we’ll play a good game and finish the season well, if we do that it will be all smiles and a good feeling going into next season."

Eriksen scored in the earlier Premier League fixture against Everton this season, helping Spurs to a 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane.

Spurs won their last match, 2-0 at home to Hull City, but Everton also head into the game on the back of a win, having claimed a 2-1 result away at West Ham.
